SCIATICA

Sciatica is a general term to describe pain that radiates from the lumbar region to the gluteal region.

Careful examination is required to determine the source of the sciatic pain.

​

Sources of sciatic type pain include irritation to the sacroiliac joint, pinched nerves, strained and sprained tissues surrounding the hip gluteal and sacro-iliac regions. 

Treatment may include chiropractic adjustments,

massage therapy, lumbar and sacroiliac support,

and rehabilitative exercises.
